The Buccan Conservation Park which separates Buccan from Bahrs Scrub is a major attraction for equestrians, hikers and nature lovers alike. The immense park off Randle Road has a series of regional trails and is brimming with animal and bird life. Buccan lies off Waterford-Tamborine Road, about 32 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Neighbouring suburbs include Logan Village, Waterford and Bahrs Scrub. The majority of the suburb is yet to be developed for residential use.
